In the Beginning… Preschool

September, 2011 Newsletter

We have had a great start to the school year! The children have quickly learned our classroom rules and try very hard each day to follow them. We hope you & your child assembled our August craft pages into a “Creation” storybook. Many exciting things are planned for the month of September:

Bible Story: Noah’s Ark (Genesis 6-9)

Verse: “Noah walked with God.” Genesis 6:9b

Themes: Grandparents, Fall (Seasons), Leaves

We will have BLUE DAY on Friday, September 16. Everyone is asked to wear something blue on that day. We will have SQUARE DAY on Friday, September 23. Everyone is asked to bring something from home in the shape of a square.

Morning: 8:00AM-11:00AM
or
Afternoon: NOON-3:00PM

Please refer to the school calendar for all other scheduling information. Adjustments may be made to the calendar for snow days.

Children must be 3 years old prior to the first day of school. All children must be toilet trained. The following forms must be completed and on file prior to the first day of school:
